Golferbot
This game was made in 48 hours for the GMTK game jam 2023
In this game, your role is switched with the programmer for completing a golf course!
Welcome to Golferbot! We’re tired of playing the same old minigolf game we’ve been playing for years. So, we built a robot to play it for us. And we hired YOU to program the robot to complete the holes. Do us a favor and see if you can complete the course with as few mistakes as possible.
Some important things to note:
- Golferbot can’t walk, so if you miss the hole, you’ll have to start over. You can change the ball’s bounce, power, and angle.
- This is the newest model Golferbot, capable of running one power-up each stroke. You can spring the ball, zero-gravity the ball, or reverse gravity the ball. Each power-up comes with its own timer, so you can fine-tune when the ball gets affected.
- Feeling impatient? Thankfully, due to our breakthroughs with special relativity and gravity manipulation, we recently discovered time-dilation! Feel free to fast-forward the Speed at your convenience.

This game is very good. Its not the best but the idea is very good. The game feels unfair sometimes but i like the way its designed. I couldnt finish it because of my skill issue. There are a few bugs (you cant fix them rn because its the voting period) but non of them are groundbreaking. The artstyle and music are not very good but the gameplay makes up for them. Its not the best but its better than anything i can do so thats something.
I'm guessing I know what bugs you're talking about... The bouncing backwards, and going through walls? Thank you for playing it!
those 2 and the speed is not made invisible when you click play
Oh, the speed not being made invisible is intentional.
oh ok
Nice idea! Felt sort of like a trick shot game. The trial and error process was kind of annoying, but once I completed a level I felt very accomplished. Nice work!
wow I remember you, thanks for play!
Yeah, great job you've improved a lot since your first game!
